I love these because they're so "all around us". It's not compelling because it's unique, or because it's otherworldly, or alien, or just weird, but because it's so normal and everyday.

Orjan Henriksson
Came across Orjan Henriksson on Lens Culture (http://www.lensculture.com/henriksson?thisPic=1). There is a simplicity to his work which often borders on abstraction. Bold shapes which are formed from shadows are placed into discreet, defined compositions. And all his photos are in a square crop - which just seems to emphasise the simple geometric nature of the shots.
I love these because they're so "all around us". It's not compelling because it's unique, or because it's otherworldly, or alien, or just weird, but because it's so normal and everyday.
